My parents aren’t in the best of health, and while they do fairly well at home, they can’t get out and about as much as they used to. A week ago my stepmother went up to the hospital with a damaged kidney. She suffered this while she was cleaning up in her backyard. She was sweeping on her patio and tripped over a hose and fell down on her left side. Thankfully because of hospitalization they were able to save her kidney on that side. Unfortunately it look like she was going to be confined to the hospital on Mother’s Day. One day last month I came home from work and found that there was a strange cat in my kitchen! He was eating my cats food and my cat was upstairs hiding under my bed. I managed to get the other cat out of my house, and I reassured my cat and made sure that he hadn’t been harmed.
