Nearly all older model cars had built-in AM and FM radio and cassette decks. The vogue today includes MP3 CD extravaganzas. You can bring in the new MP3 player without throwing out the older speakers. Due to the nature of their manufacture, speakers are usable at all times and as long as they are still in good working order, CD and MP3 units can be connected to them in any car audio system.
