When a friend showed me the coin that she recently bought I was thoroughly impressed with design. I have always loved tigers and when I saw the colorful image of the tiger on the front of a year of the tiger silver coin I knew I just had to have one. Of course, it also has symbolic meaning for me. Because I was born in the year of the tiger this coin is also an actual representation of my Chinese zodiac sign. I looked at all the different types of tiger coins and decided to go with the silver one because the stripes on the front of the coin really made an impression on me.
