11/20 Siebel has introduced teamwork

We have always had customer relationship issues of one sort or another.  And we had somehow managed to deal with them enough to stay in business.  Sometimes it would seem as if in managing the problem we created other problems in another area of our organization.  This was never constructive and often result in blame and finger pointing.  When the people from Bright Blue introduced us to the Siebel Australia solution to CRM it was a real eye opener.  Information could be shared across departmental lines and we eliminated a lot of the surprise element.  We were finally starting to function as a team.

11/18 DS colors

I am a little pissed about the color selection of the current generation DS Lite. I really wish they had more! I don’t like those clunky looking cases for the thing either which means I will usually have to stick with white or black. Nintendo DS Blog reports that Apple has had unprecendented success with their chromatic color schemes for the DS. I think giving people choice will always be better, but then again, I’m sure people would have bought the DS regardless of the color, it just would have been nice to have a choice. I guess they really don’t have any incentive to give it to us though.

11/08 My Wife Wont’ Let Me Use Her PC

My wife won’t let me use her PC because she says that I screwed up the last one and I cannot touch the current one. Well, my PC has lost all it’s battery power and won’t start up so I need to use something.

This whole argument all stems from me trying to fix her last computer that she screwed up. She went to some woman forum and found a post telling her to download some great ebook full of recipes. I think once she downloaded this thing is when the problems with her computer started. I told her I would download a free registry repair first to clean up the registry and then run some virus protection for her. Well, she swears that the reason she got the blue screen of death is because of the free registry repair. That’s not the case though.

When Microsoft first announced the new Xbox Live Dashboard Experience, that will be shoved into Xbox 360 consoles on November 19, 2008, Microsoft promised all Xbox 360 gamers that the loading times for games would be increased. 11/04 The Grandma Who Gives The Really Cool Stuff

Since two of my grandchildren live miles away from me, I’ve made a point to pay special attention to the gifts I sent them.

I figure that, if I can’t be with them personally, I need to impress them with my coolness.

So I go online and search carefully for unique and interesting birthday, Christmas, or “just because” gifts. Then it’s just a matter of ordering and having the items sent.

So far I feel like I’m doing pretty well, since my son wrote me last week and told me his sons love getting packages from their Scottish Grandma - because she sends cool stuff.

I think I’m getting pretty good at this Grandma thing.

11/03 Registry easy review compels purchase

When looking for a service to do my registry cleaning and scanning I came across a product called registry easy. I, like most others, become skeptical of products that advertise how easy using their product is. I have found that in many situations, they were much more difficult than portrayed in the commercial or advertisement. Then I came across a registry easy review and began reading that one and the ones that followed. Most people state that the the set up was not complicated and if they had questions, they were answered right away. This type of customer service is rare among computer companies, so by this alone I was impressed. I also read how inexpensive it was. I feel better about my purchase now that I’ve read those reviews.
