Anybody can experience leg cramps and there are many reasons why. First and foremost, a leg cramp is a pain that comes from a leg muscle. It is due to a muscle spasm which is when a muscle contracts too hard. It usually occurs in a calf muscle, below and behind a knee. The small muscles of the feet are sometimes affected. It is therefore strongly advised that before doing anything like exercising or doing some house repairs or anything that require using your muscles, why not try to do some warm-ups first? And most of all, it’s important that you should learn how to prevent leg cramps on your own and you don’t have to go out of your way just to get rid of them. Some people would usually go to their doctors or a massage therapist. But if you can learn how to do it on your own, you go to them, right?
