exercise

BCBSNC of Raleigh encourages people to get out and exercise.  Time and again, it has been proven that a diet full of exercise not only makes you feel better; it IS better for you!  It is a way of physically conditioning your body so that you stay in shape.  It can prevent problems such as blood clotting, diabetes and heart disease.  When you exercise, your body also releases chemicals in your body called endorphins.  Endorphins are that "feel good" feeling that you get, and who doesn’t want to feel good?!  Exercising also conditions your body.  It improves your circulation and stamina so that you don’t feel so tired all the time. It can also help to regulate your appetite, improve your sleeping patterns AND improve your metabolism.  These are all great things that everyone should take advantage of.  If everyone worked out on a regular basis, it would help to improve people’s attitudes and outlook on life; there is research that states that exercise actually puts people in a better mood!
