Laser treatment and your toenail fungus
I bet no one with a fungal infection in their toenail ever wants to show them. Aside from being ugly, it can also get painful as the nail gets thicker. The problem with fungal infection is that the medicines used will be obstructed by the nails as the fungus lets them grow like plastic thus protecting the fungal elements from the medicines. That is why treatment for this infection is a long and slow process. There are already many treatments that have been proposed for this such as aggressive debridement to internal medicines to topical medicines but there is always a recurrence as the fungus just love the dark and moist environment of your shoes. Now, there has been a recent development in this infection and that is laser treatment for toenail fungus. We have yet to find out its effectivity.
