Making sure your Seafood Treat is Safe and Mercury Free

Life would be so much easier if there was a miracle food that made us the strongest, smartest human beings we can be while tasting great in the process. Fish appears to be the answer to these wishes, with salmon even being called a “super food”. With its Omega-3 fatty acids and low saturated fat, fish does wonders for the body and mind, but even this hard working food has its drawbacks in the form of contaminants such as mercury. Certain age groups and other specific individuals need to be especially concerned about what mercury levels fish could potentially have.
