Med School Admission – an overview

Admissions – this word has an impact or significance in our lives right from when we are 2-3 years old. Let me provide you with an overview of the Med School Admission process. To get into a medical school, GPA scores should be good. However, science and non-science GPA scores will be calculated individually. To qualify for the admission, your GPA scores should be at least 3.5 in both the categories. If you maintain your GPA scores from the freshman year, it is well and good. However, showing improvement over the years will also be accepted. Now, it is time to fill out the AMCAS application form online and the information includes the following:a)    Modified undergraduate transcript b)    Science and overall GPAs c)    MCAT scores d)    Extracurricular activities informatione)    Short personal statementEnsure that you submit the application form on-date. During application screening, Committee can either reject or send a supplementary application to you. You will need to fill in the required details in the supplementary application and send it immediately. These applications are then reviewed. Reviewing Committee can either a) reject b) call c) or hold you. Only after the interview is over, final decisions will be taken.
