Collecting Water
My daughter is very concerned about the environment. This is a subject that they frequently discuss in school and she is getting scared. They have her convinced that the world will not exist in one hundred years. Don’t get me wrong, I think we need to do things to improve our environment. It just upsets me that they scare her so badly. I told her we would look into getting some rainwater tanks this weekend. They aren’t overly expensive and she can physically see the water being collected. She doesn’t see an immediate effect when she cuts off a light, but she will when the tank fills up.
