Fruity Snacks For Your Baby

I love to come up with fun new ideas and combinations to make fruit snacks for my baby. Obviously mashed banana is always a favorite, as are cooked and pureed peaches. Last week, I also made a big batch of homemade baby apple sauce and she just loves it. I’ve mixed it in with her cereal, crumbled some baby crackers in it and mixed it with mashed banana, but I think she likes it just as much by itself. It’s a great snack or side to any baby and toddler meal and it keeps for a few days in the fridge.

It tastes so much better than any type of store bought apple sauce, especially the baby versions which don’t taste much like apple to me. There’s just nothing that beats the fresh taste of homemade foods.
