If you have got a 3 hinge door, you can simply undo a single hinge plate at a time. If you have doors with only two hinges, you will have to place a wedge under the door to take the load off the door handles before you loosen it. Once the plate is removed, dip a pair card matches into wood or white glue and put them into the hole. Then tighten the hinge screws and they should hold. If the idea of shoving matches into the holes does not work for you, employ a golfing tee or a sliver of wood instead. Cover these with glue and reload the hinge. Don’t put the screw in the mended hole yet. Permit the glue to dry, then cut off any extra wood, and then drill a pilot hole into it.
