Running and Playing – A Dog’s Choice of Toy
“Go get the Frisbee, Jade!” These are the simple words that my German Shepherd loves to hear. She loves balls & fetch toys. Her Frisbee is her favorite dog toy. She sleeps with it and waits to hear those words when it is time to play. When she plays with it, she shows here agility. This dog truly loves to run and leap. The toy has brought the best in her.
Jade has many toys, but the day we let her pick out her Frisbee became the toy of choice. Early this spring, she went to the local pet store with us, and picked it off of the shelf. We carried it to the check out stand and let her carry it to the car. All summer long, she waited for the Master of the house, daddy, to come home and play. Now, it is fall and her beloved Frisbee is beginning to show some wear and tear. It will be very interesting to take her back to the store and see what she picks out next.
