The Meanings of Coupon, Deal & Discount

If you are a frequent surfer of the World Wide Web, you would always find the terms deals, discount and coupon along with your searches. These three terms are often associated to virtually all products and services being offered by all online stores.

So how these 3 words differ from each other? If we are to look on the definitions of these terms, we would find that the term “deal” is identify as “to have to do with; to buy or sell”, “discount” means “to reduce the price of; to mark down” and “coupon” describes “any printed voucher providing for free or reduced cost services or goods.” These terms may be different from each other in their real meaning but they all come down to providing reasonably priced yet excellent quality service and products, only at a part of the cost and even sometimes for FREE.
