I Have Signed My Son Up for Industrial Training at His School
My son is not the world’s greatest student. What he really likes to do is to work with his hands. I am so relieved that he will be able to start taking industrial training as part of his classes next year. If this option were not offered I seriously doubt that I would be able to keep him in high school long enough to graduate. This way he can be exposed to a variety of different work careers from plumbing to electrical to wood-working. While I think he will enjoy carpentry the most, I could be surprised. At least he is really excited about his opportunity to spend less time is the traditional classroom.
