The Long Talk
My daughter just spent a couple of hours talking to the mother of one of her best friends. She and this girl have been friends for years, but my daughter recently found out that the girl’s mother is a dental assistant. My daughter is a junior in high school and is seriously thinking about becoming a dental assistant herself. My daughter said that they talked about everything, from dental assistant salaries to duties and schedules. My daughter said that is was a very good conversation and that it answered a lot of her questions. She thinks that she wants to pursue it.
