Tests, Two-Year Schooling: Physician Assistant Requirements

If you want to know what the physician assistant requirements are, they sometimes vary by state.  However, there are specific requirements that matter all across the board.  First, to become a physician assistant, you have to have at least two years of school under your belt and graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.  Some health care or clinical experience is necessary.  Further, in order to practice, you will have to pass a national exam.  In rural or inner-city clinics, you can find a job as the main person in the physician’s office.  A lot of times doctors do not want to work the rural areas and physician assistants can run an office themselves there.
