Fairway Shots
If you haven’t played much golf before, you might wonder what you should do once you end up on the fairway of the golf course. This is when you have a choice to make about what clubs to use next. Depending on the distance left to the flag, you’ll select from either your woods or your irons. In many case, you will opt for the woods. Try using a 3 fairway wood right after your tee shot. After the driver, this is the club that will give you the most distance. If you’re a beginner, work on your shot at the driving range, and don’t get frustrated. It does take some time to learn to hit with the woods correctly.
