The Need for Speed
The need for speed is paramount in almost all sports competitions, this involves a distinct series of movements especially during start up. Start up, commonly known as acceleration is the key to speed, or one of the ways to get faster. During acceleration the speed is best achieved by making sure that the foot strikes the ground directly below or slightly behind the hips. Keeping the body at a 45 degree angle to the ground helps maintain optimal force, thereby driving the body forward with great intensity.
