Expert product reviews — make sure you know who the experts are
Whenever you are evaluating expert product reviews, you should take some time to find out about the “experts” who are submitting these reviews. Do they have the background and expertise to properly evaluate merchandise? Hide you know that they are completely neutral — perhaps they are a paid spokesperson or a company representative. Many so-called product review experts are in fact nothing more than a paid shill acting on behalf of of a manufacturer or company. Quality product review sites, however, will be very selective in choosing someone to be on their team of experts — and in most cases they will tell you upfront about that individuals background and qualifications.
