Speaking Clearly to France

I am so relieved this morning. Yesterday I had to make a very important overseas call to a sales representative in France. A large amount of money was being moved around, and this was not a deal to make mistakes on. I was dreading the call because my connection in France has a really strong accent, and sometimes I have difficulty in understanding him correctly. Fortunately, my company has recently installed a new ip phone system that made our conversation crystal clear. I only had to ask for clarification once. What a relief! The transaction went through without a hitch, and our business can expect a big shot in the arm as a result. I’m relieved it’s a done deal.
